Available for download, Overloud Choptones Fend Bass50 offers the sound of a classic vintage guitar amplifier for the Overloud TH-U software platform. Also included are cabinet emulations and pedal models. The amplifier, cabinets, stompboxes, and microphones used were emulated by Choptones, a company known for its emulations ported to multiple platforms.

This particular expansion library recreates the sound of a 1970 Fender Bassman 50 heavy-duty amplifier head that offers a crunchy and distorted tone as you crank its gain. The engineers modeled this amplifier in multiple configurations, using a wide array of cabinets, microphones, and stompboxes. There are 40 rigs offered in total, captured with Shure, Royer, Neumann, and other microphones. Cabinets from Marshall, Mesa Boogie, Fender, and Soldano have been utilized, and all manner of distortion pedals have also been modeled.
