Overloud BM Filmprojector Rig Expansion Library for TH-U (Download) Overview
Add the classic sounds of Mullard tubes from 1950s film projectors to your TH-U virtual guitar rig with the Overloud BM Filmprojector expansion library. Created by Bert Meulendijk, the library captures the distinctive tones of the amplifiers found in the Filmosound 385 and AQ-2 film projectors. A reverb and parallel compressor are also included.
Classis Sound of 1950s Film Projector Amps
- ’50s film projectors were hiding some great tube amps inside, which nowadays are being converted into amazing guitar amps
- The library samples two powerful first-class dynamic amps, each with just a volume and a tone pot
- The Filmosound 385, used by players including Blake Mills and Anthony Wilson, is even one of Tim Pierce’s favorite amps
- The military AQ-2, a fantastic tight and dynamic tube amp, can be heard on Blake Mills’ Heigh Ho album
- Both amps carry the original Mullard tubes
Two Unique Bonus Effects
- The library also includes two unique effects designed with Bert Meulendijk
- The Stryverb is a rich and lush reverb effect, with a long and modulated tail, with a very modern vibe
- The Parallel Compressor includes a Parallel knob, which allows to blend the direct to the compressed tone, in order to have a full control over the dynamic of the instrument
