The Pro-G Gate and Expander Software from FabFilter is a music production and multitrack recording plug-in for Windows- or Mac-based computers that has six tuned expander/gate algorithms. It can be used as a versatile mixing tool for applications such as recording, post production, sound design, editing, and more. The software offers you a way to perform and get full control over certain parameters as well as tuned algorithms, side chain, channel linking, and metering. All this is provided in an easy-to-use interface design.

Apart from the professional sound, the Pro-G includes upward expansions and ducking features. Choose between mono, stereo, or mid/side chain processing. The look-ahead time can be set up to 10 ms and all this is done with low CPU usage, and zero-latency. In addition you get tuned knobs, MIDI learn, smart parameter interpolation for smooth parameter transitions and a help file with interactive help hints.
