This 5.5GB library comprises 20,000 samples, affording you 38 articulations, four dynamic layers of legato transition, as well as phase alignment of all samples, to provide smooth, inaudible crossfading among eight separate velocity layers.

The Canadian and French violas are offered as EX instruments, which are optimized for playability and performance with fast load times and low memory requirements. In addition to the usual articulations such as legato and portamento, Chris Hein brings you special effects and more esoteric articulations, allowing experimental musicians and film composers to explore the possibilities of flautando, flageolets, and ponticello.
