AudioTrack from Waves is a plug-in that features three complete processors in a single, easy-to-use interface. Ideal for multimedia, voiceovers, project studios, and more, the plug-in contains a four-band EQ, compressor/expander, and a gate.

C1 Compressor from Waves is a dynamics processor plug-in featuring three distinct modules. The compressor/expander, gate/expander, filter/EQ sections allow the plug-in to fulfill multiple functions, either as separate processors, or combined for maximum flexibility. The plug-in includes Native, SoundGrid and TDM licenses.

C4 Multiband from Waves is a multiband dynamics processor plug-in that features four bands of up and down expansion, limiting, and compression, along with dynamic and standard EQ. By combining the technologies from the Renaissance Compressor and the C1 Parametric Compander, the plug-in provides comprehensive and transparent control over the contours of a mix.

DeEsser from Waves is a plug-in used to reduce excessive sibilance (“ess” and “shh” sounds) from vocal tracks. Inspired by vintage gear for precision de-essing and high frequency limiting, the plug-in delivers smooth and natural output without complicated adjustments.

H-Comp from Waves is a hybrid compressor plug-in that models the behavior of transformer, tube, and transistor circuits, and combines them with the repeatability of software. The compressor’s release performance is specifically modeled on the corresponding analog behavior, while a wet/dry control allows for parallel compression.

Other features include multiple sync functions, an output limiter, and access to the compressor circuitry via an external side-chain for additional compression control.

H-Delay from Waves is a hybrid delay plug-in that features old school PCM42-style effects like filtering, flanging, and phasing, along with slap-back echo, ping-pong delay, and tempo-sync with modulation. The plug-in has full MIDI support.

An intuitive interface aids in quickly creating an effect using a comprehensive set of controls and includes a tap tempo pad for manually tapping in a tempo. Internal or host-to sync is also available, and the high- and low-pass filters can be linked.

IR-L Convolution Reverb from Waves is a convolution based, stereo reverb plug-in that is capable of recreating the sound of real acoustic spaces. Over 100 impulse responses are provided, editable via the easy and efficient, streamlined interface. MaxxBass from Waves is a plug-in for enhancing the perceived loudness of the bass content in an audio source. The software uses psycho-acoustics to calculate precise harmonics that are related to the fundamental tones of sound. When these harmonics are combined with the original signal, it creates the effect of lower, deeper frequencies that is apparent on virtually any speaker.

MondoMod from Waves is a modulation plug-in for creating unique sonic textures ranging from tranquil to turbulent. The software uses a combination of linked AM (Amplitude Modulation), FM (Frequency Modulation) and rotation modulators. The software features five selectable waveforms for the LFO, and the overall tempo of the modulators can be synchronized to the host software.

MV2 from Waves is a compressor plug-in that is as effective as it is deceptively simple. With high and low level compression controlled by a streamlined interface, the plug-in is the simplest, most flexible way to control sound using intuitive dual faders for quick dynamic optimization.

The PAZ Analyzer from Waves is an audio analysis plug-in that generates a comprehensive real-time visual representation of the audio’s stereo positioning, frequency spread, and peak/RMS levels. It shows the peak and RMS displays with individually re-settable peak hold values, and provides optional resolution in 10 Hz steps for precise analysis below 250 Hz. The analysis graphic output can be saved as a text file.

The PS22 Stereo Maker from Waves is ideal for revitalizing old recordings, as well as sound effects, guitar leads, and more. The software provides mono-to-stereo emulation, can be used to enhance individual tracks, or for re-balancing the spatial imaging of a stereo mix.

The Q10 from Waves is a paragraphic EQ plug-in that features up to ten frequency bands within seven components. The software delivers precision equalization for mixing and mastering alike, with each band having the same extended frequency range, and the ability to narrow the bandwidth (Q) for more surgical tasks.

The Renaissance DeEsser from Waves is a plug-in used to reduce excess sibilance (ess and shh sounds) from vocal tracks. A sibilance attenuator reduces undesirable high frequencies while preserving the integrity of the source. The software provides an advanced early reflection system, and dual-band EQ and damping controls. An interesting feature of the early reflections is the ability to input negative values, thus delaying the dry signal. This can create an interesting bloom effect before the onset of the dry signal.

V-Comp from Waves is a dynamics plug-in that uses time constants and a fixed nominal output gain to recreate the famous output-bus sound signature of a vintage 2254 hardware compressor. The plug-in is very responsive, with only a little gain reduction needed to glue a mix together.

The V-EQ3 from Waves is a three-band EQ plug-in modeled after the 1066 and 1073 console modules, two of the most sought after EQs. It features the same classic frequency cutoff points as the originals, along with a variable high-pass filter.

Vocal Rider from Waves is a plug-in that automatically rides the levels of vocal tracks during mix-down. This relieves the engineer from having to manually ride a physical mixing console fader, or drawing in each individual level change on a DAW track. The only thing needed is setting the target range of the vocal level in relation to the rest of the mix.

Unlike regular compression, the software adds no additional coloring to the track. The Vocal Rider Live component includes a spill control to differentiate the vocal from background instrumentation and noise, providing for better tracking and performance.

The plug-in provides an accurate ballistic response with smooth movement, fast refresh rate, and a clip indicator.

Available for download, Waves Sibilance is a de-esser that makes use of Waves Organic ReSynthesis technology to result in glitch-free processing of sibilated sounds. Use this plug-in to reduce the harsh noise from s and sh consonants in sung and spoken vocals, doing so in a way that doesn’t alter the vocal’s inherent tonality. With this plug-in, you’ll be able to secure a brighter overall tone without the harshness commonly associated with sibilance.

Threshold and Range controls function as you’d expect, setting the level at which processing begins and the maximum amount of gain-reduction respectively. Conventional Lookahead and Monitor controls are also on hand.

Instead of a frequency control, you’re provided with the Detection Width knob. This control, located on the left of the GUI, intelligently focuses on sibilance. At lower values, it detects narrower frequency ranges, while higher values result in wider frequency ranges. Use the lower settings to isolate the s and higher-settings to find sh sounds.

Traditional de-essers often let you select between wide and split-band processing. The Sibilance’s Mode control, however, lets you transition gradually between the two. Lower values will affect the full frequency range, while the highest value targets frequencies above 4 kHz. You can blend between the two poles or automate the Mode control to target different types of sibilance at different parts of the tune.

This plug-in works in mono and stereo applications. Included are modules for mono/stereo live use as well, but these modules don’t sport lookahead controls. Sibilance is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and can operate in AU, VST, and AAX formats.
