DANDY from Ujam is like the ideal veteran studio bassist: Impeccably well-dressed, polite, and utterly lethal on the bass guitar. Designed to provide the ultrasmooth bass lines that you expect from a seasoned pro, never hogging the spotlight or taking up too much space in the mix, DANDY can turn any producer into a pro bassist, regardless of bass or keyboard playing ability, thanks to two playing modes that either take the initiative with realistic, automatic performances, or allow you let loose manually.
DANDY is packed with 30 styles, 990 phrases, and 100 presets, so your creativity never ceases. You also get 15 finisher multi-FX chains, drive control, 4 character presets, 4 amp presets, and several master FX for final tweaks of your sound. Finally, MIDI drag-and-drop functions and the usual intuitive Ujam UI with resizing round out the features. This plug-in is available in VST2, AU2, and AAX plug-in formats for Windows and macOS computers.

If you prefer to record your own phrases (or even bass solos), Instrument Mode gives you complete access to all articulations. This means you can use your MIDI controller to play exactly what you want with maximum creative expression (including adding dead notes, full stops, and even slides.)

With the new Virtual Bassist 2.1 update, Ujam will provide Studio One users running on version 4.6.2 or later with an exclusive PreSonus chord and key track feature. Descriptions of styles and phrases are displayed on the piano roll to help you find the right styles and phrases faster and easier for your track. The new chord track feature in Studio One automatically follows the chords and automatically changes the MIDI notes for you.
