• Max Ostro Pure: a superclean, tight, and highly dynamic tone that allows you to create lush atmospheres and at the same time is very reactive to transients, for the fastest and most technical passages. Designed to easily replicate Max’s clean tones.
• Max Ostro Promenade: this is the main amp model Max uses together with his overdrive pedals for his virtuoso solo segments, when note articulation needs to be clear. It is very versatile and features Boost and Mode switches for selecting multiple kinds of voicings.
• Wax Ostro: this high-gain head is ideal for more melodic solos when a lot of sustain is needed. Its particular EQ shaping makes this amp pop out of the mix.

• Keys to the shredderini: this pedal recreates the unique Max Ostro detune-delay tone. This is a signature of his sound, and it is obtained by combining a delay with Eventide-like detune modulation in the delay feedback.
• Ostroah: this autowah has a special filter with a shape that is part of the unique Max Ostro tone. You can control the sensitivity of the filter and how the resonance reacts to the playing dynamics. You can also apply the wah effect only on one channel.
• Max Shaper: the Max Shaper enhances the attack of notes by increasing transients, a helpful function for faster parts where it’s not possible to pick all the notes. It also allows you to control the release envelope of the long notes without compressing dynamics.
• Duck Emulator: this overdrive pedal is one of Max’s most creative, and it is an octave/distortion pedal that uses a distinctive octave-up circuit, which doubles the pitch while adding distortion and loads of sustain. The mode knob allows for selection between three settings of octave generation, EQ shaping, and overdrive dynamics.
• Crispy Palm Tree: this amp-in-a-box pedal replicates Max’s five favorite high-gain electro-fusion amp sounds. Each setting combines an amp model and Max IR used in his most famous solos.

TH-U offers a matrix of four microphones which can be placed anywhere in the 3D space in front and even behind the cabinet, change the angle, and pan them in the stereo space. A double IR loader integrated into the cabinet module allows you to load and mix IRs with the cab microphones.

The ReSPiRe 2 technology allows you to choose between the real response of the cabinet and a processed version optimized to fit into the mix. Six different room types and 18 microphone models can be selected.

When the recorded audio sample rate differs from the IR sample rate, conventional convolution requires resampling of the audio in order to match the two sample rates. This is particularly true when oversampling is used, like in many guitar processors. This leads to an increased CPU load and some audio degradation due to the resampling process.

With Fluid Convolution, Overloud stores the IRs in the complex frequency domain, so no resampling is needed. The results are a more natural feel and lower CPU impact.

Setting up a MIDI floorboard is as easy as clicking an element on the TH-U interface and pressing the corresponding pedal on the MIDI floorboard. TH-U learns the MIDI connection and makes it instantly available in any preset.
