As seen on 2A-style compressors, Custom Opto has peak-reduction and output-gain knobs and a glowing VU meter. Unlike the vintage equipment, Custom Opto offers adjustable circuit response speed, ratio, and four tone modes plus a Flat setting, allowing it to not only tame peaks, but also shift the track’s timbral impact. Additionally, it provides built-in parallel compression via a mix knob, and switchable stereo linking for use on stems and full mixes.
