The PSPaudioware PSP auralControl Plug-In is an essential tool for multichannel tracking, mixing, and mastering. Its primary function is to allow precise adjustments over level, polarity, bandwidth, and timing for each individual channel within a multichannel set.

With support for predefined industry-standard multichannel formats, grouping capabilities, and the convenience of displaying all features on a single screen, PSP auralControl becomes a valuable time-saving tool for virtually any surround project. Whether you’re addressing imbalances in a multichannel live stem, solving issues with a multichannel reverb track, preserving the full spectrum content of LFE or ceiling speakers, or fine-tuning the timing and level of the center channel in reference to the left and right channels, PSP auralControl offers a straightforward solution to these challenges.

Typical Uses

  • Rebalancing multichannel stems.
  • Monitoring multichannel buses: peak meters for each channel; mute or solo desired channels on multichannel buses—check a side channel on a multichannel reverb send.
  • Gain staging for multichannel buses: you can control the level of each channel with ease—for example bring up rear channels on effect sends or reduce LFE.
  • Simple multichannel operations: access to basic HPF and LPF filters for each channel—roll off LFE with LPF or leave air on the top channel with the HPF.
  • Advanced effect operations: access to a delay section to set up unique depths for multichannel mixes—for example you can put a multi-mono instance of PSP 2445 on a multichannel reverb send, creating a type of big monophonic reverb.
  • With PSP auralControl you can roll off LFE, set different frequency ranges and levels for front, rear, side, and top channels, and set different predelays for each channel group to produce a full-sounding multichannel reverb.
  • Advanced level riding: you have access to channel groups and record automation with relative or reversed linking—bringing up front levels while reducing rear levels.
  • Advanced mid-side operations: access to stereo track mid-side processing.

Key Features
