Available for download, the Overloud Choptones Fried Betty Rig Library is a selection of guitar amp and cabinet emulations for use with the Overloud TH-U platform. The amplifier, cabinets, stompboxes, and microphones were emulated by Choptones, a company known for its models ported to multiple platforms.

This particular expansion library recreates the sound of a Friedman Buxom Betty amplifier complete with 6L6 power tubes. The amp was engineered to capture both the clean tones of a classic American amplifier and the distorted tones of a British amp, all in a single-channel head.

Choptones has modeled this amp in multiple configurations using a wide array of cabinets, microphones, and stompboxes. You’ll find 95 rigs offered in total and captured with Shure, Royer, Grundig, and other microphones. Multiple cabinets have been utilized from Marshall, Vox, Bogner, and more. Many distortion pedals have been modeled as well.
