Available for download, the Overloud Choptones Crank Revone Expannsion Library is a selection of guitar amp and cabinet emulations for use with the Overloud TH-U platform. The amplifier, cabinets, stompboxes, and microphones were emulated by Choptones, a company known for porting its models to multiple platforms.

This particular expansion library recreates the sound of a Krank Rev 1 amplifier head, a 120W amplifier intended specifically for metal tones, both clean and distorted alike. Choptones has modeled this amp in multiple configurations, using a wide array of cabinets, microphones, and stompboxes.

You’ll find 152 rigs offered in total, captured with Shure, Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, and other microphones. Multiple cabinets have been utilized from Mesa Boogie, Marshall, Soldano, EVH, and more. Many distortion pedals have been modeled as well.
