Available for download, Boutique Drums Series Penny from Musical Sampling comprises a set of samples that give you the sound of a vintage drum kit, one reminiscent of the 1960s and 1970s. The sample pack uses the tight-mic style popular of that era, as well as cloth dampening for the toms and snare. Vintage mics were used as was a custom-curated kit to evoke the classic sound of those times.

Kicks, snares, snare ghost-notes, rim shots, and toms are included, as are multiple hi-hat states, from closed to open. Also, hi-hat grooves have been recorded at multiple states, which can be crossfaded between closed and open states across six settings.

These samples are meant to be used in Native Instruments Kontakt version 5.1.8 or later. You will need a full version of this software to use these drum sounds.
