Let the defining guitar sounds of classic British rock and roll invade your DAW with the Kuassa Amplifikation Lancaster guitar-amp simulator plug-in. Inspired by Vox AC30 combo amplifiers, this software provides the tones of the legendary amp in three incarnations from the ’70s, ’90s, and late 2000s, helping you attain the charm of guitar tracks recorded by Queen, The Beatles, U2, Radiohead, and many more.

Further reinforcing its authentic character are the five speaker cabinets, created from impulse responses created from the responses of actual Vox combo amps. Choose from dynamic, ribbon, and condenser microphones, freely adjust their positions, and mix two mics at the same time in mono or stereo. Special features such as the treble booster, parallel signal path, and tunable power amp section give Amplifikation Lancaster the vibe and mojo associated with highly desired AC30s.

Amp Types

  • Lancaster A: Late 2000s AC30, breaks up and overdrives early for a raw and raucous sound
  • Lancaster B: 1990s Limited Edition AC30, fat and slightly compressed for a thick sound with overdrive or distortion
  • Lancaster C: Modified 1970s AC30, cleaner sound with huge headroom, instantly recognizable for its loud and jangly tone
