UltraChannel from Eventide is a powerful channel strip plug-in offering gating, two stages of compression, and a 5-band parametric EQ, along with Eventide’s Micro Pitch shifting and stereo delays to top it off. The software offers a semi-modular design, allowing you to rearrange the order of the gate, compressors, and EQ modules.

In addition to a traditional channel strip compressor with de-essing and side-chain input, UltraChannel adds the O-Pressor, designed to aggressively handle extreme compression duties and impart a distinctive sonic character to your tracks when engaged. Also unusual in a channel strip is the Micro Pitch Shift module, which offers four controls to widen and sweeten your audio, along with a stereo delay module that allows you to feed its signal back into the other modules to create powerful filtered, ducked, and gated delays. Finally, if you need a little hint of warmth, dial in some analog-style soft saturation from the transformer module.
