Sibelius | Ultimate 1-Year Subscription is an advanced music notation software, which provides composers, arrangers, and publishers with powerful notation tools for writing, arranging, and publishing scores of any size and complexity. With an unlimited number of instrument parts and complete layout flexibility, it allows you to compose music with ease, create and refine scores quickly, capture musical ideas on the fly, turn music into sheet music, and share your work in the cloud.
Sibelius | Ultimate features a task-based interface that leads you through the entire score-creation process. Enter notes from the onscreen notation, keyboard, or fretboard windows, or from your MIDI keyboard, and add notational elements, dynamics, custom symbols, and text. The included 36GB sound library of realistic sampled instruments allows you to play back your compositions and hear how they would sound with full instrumentation.
Useful features for film and TV composers include timecode, video support, customizable hit points, and the Live Tempo function for controlling the playback tempo by tapping in real time. The software also comes with the AudioScore Lite, PhotoScore & NotateMe Lite applications, which enable you to turn recorded, performed, printed, and handwritten music into notation. To add comments on a score, the Annotate feature lets you draw free-form, directly on the score, and communicate edits, instructions, and feedback to collaborators, arrangers, or musicians.
Sibelius | Ultimate is ideal for teaching music notation, composition, and theory to students of all ages. It includes over 1700 ready-made teaching materials, with worksheets, projects, and exercises, as well as a Classroom Control window to track your students’ progress.
