Available as an electronic download, Audio Modeling SWAM Double Reeds is a virtual instrument plug-in developed to deliver a convincingly realistic virtual oboe, English horn, bassoon, and contrabassoon for composers, producers, and performers in multiple genres. By using physical and behavioral modeling instead of samples, it provides versatile timbres while imposing a low load on your system resources.
SWAM Double Reeds offers extensive real-time parameters such as growl, flutter tongue, breath noise, and overblow, which can be adjusted via external MIDI controllers or your DAW. It also features a built-in mixer with reverb and pan controls for enhancing the sound. SWAM Double Reeds is compatible with macOS and Windows systems and supports AAX, Audio Units, VST, and VST3 plug-in formats.
