Cleverly combining the best elements of compression, limiting, and overdrive, Invigorate from Eventide deconstructs dynamics processing to provide a plug-in that is fine-tuned to add life to your mixes, drum bus, or any other signal that needs an injection of energy. Through the Unique Radar function, you can seamlessly morph from pumping compression, through face-smacking limiting, to rich warm distortion, bringing your mix forward.

The Mix control lets you dial in the perfect balance of color. Use an array of controls, such as Sensitivity, Input Exciter, Output Tone, and three gain-curve controls, to deliver sophisticated adjustments to your processing. An aggressive level detector makes it easy to produce pumping compression or airy breathing when desired, while oversampling and anti-aliasing ensure clean audio with no digital aliasing.

Intuitive Dynamics Processing

Invigorate is designed to be easy-to-use and intuitive with its powerful control layout. An innovative gain compensation algorithm allows you to dial in the perfect sound without tricking yourself with the infamous “louder is better” ethos. The comprehensive controls include:

  • Unique Radar: allows you to dial in the ideal amount of gain while morphing from compression, through limiting, to distortion
  • Mix: allows you to find the perfect color and character for your signal
  • Sensitivity: tone control to tailor the frequencies of the sidechain signal
  • Input Exciter: enables you to overdirve the dynamics processor
  • Output Tone: allows you to adjust the sound of the wet signal before the mix control
  • Shape, Squash, and Gate: controls the gain curve to give you the optimal amount of control over your tone

Platform Compatibility

Invigorate is tested with Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, and Studio One, but is fully compatible with most host DAW programs. This plug-in is fully functional on both Windows and macOS 64-bit computers and is available in AAX, Audio-Unit (macOS only), VST2, VST3 formats.
