THREE-BODY TECHNOLOGY Phoenix Scream is a virtual instrument that realistically emulates the sounds and articulations of a Chinese Suona, a traditional reed instrument made out of bulrush trunk. The Suona offers a metallic sound rich in high frequencies, commonly used for wedding and burial music in Chinese tradition. Highly expressive, especially for extreme delight or grief-stricken emotions, it is equally well suited for modern epic and virtuoso music, as well as for recreating natural sounds such as bird singing, frog croaking, monkey crying, and more.

To expand your sound palette, Phoenix Scream also includes Phoenix Growl—a second virtual instrument. Phoenix Growl uses pitched-down samples of Phoenix Scream to help you quickly create bass harmonies.

Phoenix Scream is compatible with Mac and Windows. It runs as standalone software or operates in AU, VST2, and AAX formats.
